Not that I am aware of. For our purposes, the version that ships on the
RaQ is sufficient. Depending on the changelog for the newer versions,
it's possible we might have to do some re-engineering on our side to use
the newer versions, and that might be why a newer version has not been
released.

You can always install the newer version in a separate directory, and
run it on a different port number, if you really need functionality that
a new version provides.

iptables requires kernel 2.4.x, from what I understand. ipchains runs
fine on a RaQ right now. There is no GUI support for configuring it
(like there is on the Qube), but you can install/run ipchains from an
RPM with no problems (I run it on my own RaQ and have not noticed any
problems with it).

I am not aware of any plans to release a 2.4.x kernel for the RaQ4
product line, so iptables will probably never be supported on that
platform unless it can run on kernel 2.2.x.
