I agree! OS Update 2.0 _is_ in QA (has been for a while, actually).
Due to the large number of PKGs to integrate, there is some fairly
extensive testing that has to take place. Apparently, also, the Veritas
client is causing some problems that are holding things up now. But I
think it will be delivered sometime in early '02...
