[cobalt-users] RaQ4 - Traffic is spiking!

Hi,

I have an RaQ4 and MRTG graphs show that the traffic is spiking up to 1 
MB per second for about 5 minutes, about 2-3 times per day.

I've been trying to find out if this server has been hacked, but the 
server admin says no.  What else could be causing such a spike?  The 
spike is in the GREEN of the MRTG graph which shows "in" traffic.  
Server load is normal at the time this happens.

Any helpful advice will be appreciated.
