Hi list!
I'm getting this error on my server.
>Subject: the IMAP (mail) server is not responding
>
>The IMAP (mail) server appears to be down. Within the Cobalt server
>Control
>Panel, try turning mail service off and then on again to see if this
corrects
>the problem. If not, try rebooting the server itself. If this still does
>not correct the problem, contact Cobalt Technical Support.
I did all the things there and nothing happened. Also I re-intalled the IMAP
RPM to a previous and newers versions... did not work!
And I got squirrelMail trying to run but with these issue on the IMAP it's
not working. Right now i'm running version "imap-4.5-C1.i386.rpm"
I checked the /etc/services and there everything was fine.
imap 143/tcp # Interim Mail Access Proto
v2
imap 143/udp
#imap2 143/tcp imap # Interim Mail AccessProto
v2
#imap2 143/udp imap
imap3 220/tcp # Interactive Mail Access
imap3 220/udp # Protocol v3
simap 993/tcp # IMAP over SSL
In the inet.conf I see this:
imap stream tcp nowait.80 root /usr/sbin/tcpd imapd
Then I don't know why I get this error on SquirrelMail:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in
/home/sites/site31/web/webmail/functions/imap_general.php on line 34
And on my panel-control I see the Imap service with no information (no
light).
What can I do?
Thanks
