RE: [cobalt-users] patch level on newer machines

I do in fact have that patch.. and it's one that threw me off from my original plan of just adding everything that is on the website that is not on my machine already.... This is pretty poor patch management, deployment, and organization by sun...

Normally I would say that you should add all that are not there. This
would be with not adding any that are not needed due to an update that
obsoleted them. On Dec 4th Jason posted what patches he had on his new
machine. He has a patch RaQ4-All-Mfg Release 1.0.1-11246. This patch is
not listed anywhere. Do you have it? What is included in it seems to be
unknown. Without someone telling us what is in it, I am not sure anyone
other that a Cobalt/Sun employee can answer anymore. Some one else
answered Jason only add patches newer than his newest. This would take a
little work as the numbers are not always in order and there are different
types with their own numbering ( all vs security).

Sorry for the poor answer, but do you have the Mfg patch? Does anyone know
what the Mfg patch does?
