Hi all. Getting ready to use CMU (hopefully) to transfer sites from my Raq 4
that is sitting live in Florida to my box temporarily in my house. Getting
ready to go colo.
Have already tightened everything up with the usual suspects (SSH, Telnet
Off, all patched up, Ipchains, PortSentry, tripWire, etc). Just searched and
downloaded the newest (and hopefully fully functional) version from Jeff
Bilickis site...
http://www.bilicki.com/cmu/
there you'll find version 2.27 (newer than on the cobalt site).
Anyone use this yet, what entanglements might I expect? If you have a
walkthrough for use (have the PDF for the older one from the Cobalt site)
with this version (Jeff?) that differs please let me know.
I have done a manual migration in the past and am wondering if that is a
more trouble-free method... last time the CMU was used (a year or so ago)
site numbering and ownerships were quite mangled. Opted to reformat and
start over manually setting everything up.
Thanks in advance for your help/advice/warnings.
Best regards, Troy
