maybe try webalizer2 (and rewrite the webalizer-files in /etc/cron.daly)
if you have not installed a gd with png-support try the precompiled
linux-version

Stefan,
Thanks for the reply :>
It's all sorted now...seems that the version the server was running a early
version 2 and was using png rather than gif. When I loaded on the latest
version from pkg.nl.cobalt.com this version as I noticed produces gif's
rather than png's - the program did it's thing when cron ran and logrotate
did it's thing but the images were gif - hence the reason for the shared
libraries error - the gif writers had never been installed on the machine.
When I did a search for gd 1.3 - it was no longer supported or available -
so basically rather than hunt that down - I simply downloaded the latest
version of webalizer from the developers site and installed that - png
support was there already and everythings working as normal now. :>
Thanks again
Regards from Auckland
