Not quite ... I meant a PSTN Modem ... 56k ... serial port connection.
I have used a Qube3 with the WAN connected to Ethernet II and the LAN on
Ethernet I and all is well. This time I have a serial modem connected to
the serial port and all is not well.

I'm thinking its the built-in firewall, but I have it disabled. I tried
enabling Web Caching (which enabled the built-in firewall) but it had no
effect.
I'm keen to hear if anyone has a working WAN connection via the serial port.
Cheers, Malcolm
