Hi Jim,
I have Tomcat 3.2.3 running on a raq 3. Besides the problems of sparse
documentation and a steep learning curve, it runs fine on the Raq. The only
thing I've found is if you have a bunch of sites on the box, it can be a
bit of a CPU/memory hog. So once you get it installed you might want to
keep an eye on it for a couple days and see how your machine handles it. In
the end I upgraded the box to 512 meg and it runs with no problems now.

Hi, has anybody had *any* problems installing either the Jdk or Tomcat on a
RaQ 3? I have 128Mb of memory.
I am looking into the Sun Cobalt Dev Kit v1.3 but am hesitating because it
uses Tomcat 3.2.3 and I am aware that Tomcat 4 offers significant
improvements.
So I am thinking about installing the JDK myself and then Tomcat 4.
Thanks,
Jim
