Reboot did not fix it.

[root locks]# ls
SITEDEL  altmp  list-13106  monitor



'altemp' is a copy of 'aliases'. Perhaps that file shouldn't be here ?

There is a file in /etc/locks that is causing the problem. I do not know
the name of the file although if you search the archives you should find
the exact name. A reboot may also fix the problem.
