Re: [cobalt-users] Qube 3 - How to stop spam?

If you go over a few hundred, sendmail's map logic will start to screw up,
and it will start rendomly accepting things that are blocked, go to

I just checked and there were about 198 so I guess I'm still ok but it grows daily. I'm pretty sure I'm putting more info in there then needed. There are the individual spammers where I put in thier entire entire entity in there like this newman4.dc3.lycos.com so not to block the entire domain. Then I've got a lot of domains that probably are entered as ip addresses as well. I get a touch confused on the email headers as to which one the server really sees, there sometimes are two received froms... Since reading your message I stripped that to just the first one. Is it better to enter the domain or the ip address?

www.spews.org, get the entire class c blocks and use those

spews can be a bit restrictive, some of those entire blocks are containing innocents who are not spamming... but I would like to ban blocks that I can see are specifically assigned to a few of the mass mailers that are open about their business. What is the proper syntax to block a range in the reject list?

Thanks for the help GSH!
