you should find gzip and compress for starters,
but i should warn you that you might have a problem with opening files
you've gzip'ed on your raq on a windows machine, hasnt worked for me yet.
Theres bound to be more , but i think really the best compression tool out
there for windows or linux is RAR(www.rarsoft.com i believe, or do a google
search for rar), its fast and makes files around 10-15% smaller than zip.
