Re: [cobalt-users] RAQ4 IP Problem

At 10:19 AM 11/8/2001, you wrote:
We have a single IP address allocated to our Raq4R as well as Class C range
(I know it's not referred to in that anyway but I forget the notation).
Anyway, as of yesterday *some* of the addresses have stopped responding
within the Class C range. I manage the DNS independently of the RAQ and
everything is exactly as it was and should be that end. Traceroutes for
these IP addresses go right up to the router before the server. Pinging even
while logged in to the server itself gets no reply. It appears the Raq has
decided not to answer for these addresses for some reason. Has anyone come
across the bevhaviour or got any suggestions?

Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Try tracert and see if your ips are getting to the gateway. It may be they are stopped prior to your computer.

Do you have ipchains, portsentry and the like loaded (firewall)? If so, you may have blocked yourself out.
