Yes, this is possible.  When cmuImport is run it will detect a conflict with
the existing virtual site, you can use the following options to get what you
want. 

> 1. already existing Virtual Site with already existing users on it.

Merge -  Merges the users and mailing lists configuration and content with the
exsisting vsite.  The original vsite configuration is not changed, and the
conent of imported site is restored.

Change - The will allow you change the fqdn of the virtual site.

Yes, if the imported vsite and the root vsite have the same fqdn, select Merge.

You are prompted for these options only if a conflict is detected.  Hope this
