You only "need" to assign a unique IP to a domain that is using
Anonymous FTP, Cobalt Bandwidth Management, or SSL.

Note: SSL and Anonymous FTP, only one site on a given IP can have each
service activated. So you can share an IP among all sites, as long as
only one of them has SSl enabled, and only one has Anonymous FTP
enabled.

Note: Bandwidth Management will be applied to all domains selected for
throttling. So you can throttle an IP that has 20 sites assigned to it,
but all 20 sites will have their bandwidth throughput set to the same
value.

If you are not using any of these three services, you can have every
single domain on your server have the same IP address if you wish. Also,
some providers charge for IP usage, so it can save you money if you
don't need unique IPs.
