This question has probably been asked time and time again but unfortunately
I couldn't seem to locate it in the archive.
I'm looking to buy a webserver to host serveral sites on. I've looked at
different options and the cobalt raq seems to be the best but I want to add
addition software to it. I've got enough unix/linux experience to
compile/install packages but does the customised install of linux that
cobalt use prevent it being added to like a normal linux install?
I've read adding software invalidates the guarantee, but is it a pain to get
open source software to compile and run successfully on a cobalt raq?
thanks for your time
David Wilson
