BTW, have you overcome the behavior of the GUI to tell the user in is
welcome page that his mail is at at joe_user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?

If you haven't then his welcome message would be wrong, since you're
using mail@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
