Before I ask, I know this has been covered in the archives and I did search
there and an advanced search at google but.. I did not find directions
simple enough for my feeble mind to make work..
I have a good start ipchains script that I've installed in /etc/rc.d I run
manually by excuting it from the command line ie: filename
It does not automatically start at boot though.. If the machine ever happens
to "autoboot" I'm going to be nekkid until I notice it and get in and do a
manual start. I'd originally left it manual till I was absolutely sure it
would not ever lock me out. It does not appear to have any flaws.
What other step to I need to do to get this bugger to work automatically..
Am I on the right track?
And sorry for asking a question that I know has been answered but I'm too
lame (NOT lazy) to find the answer.
TIA
Wayne
PS, if anyone wants the script, it was written by a VERY smart fellow, is
very short and sets up a pretty good set of rules very easily. I'll post it
if you want.
