The use of the "~" in Webalizer is dependant upon how you have your "users"
directories set up. From reading the posts here, I have gathered that not
everyone's users are set up to use the "~".
If your user directories need the "~", then webalizer will need it also.
This is because, as Gerald points out, Webalizer from sourceforge sets up
"stats" for each domain as a user.
