Hi Gerald,
I've renumbered dozens of Cobalt's numerous times in the
past few months and I haven't found this to be necessary. Changing
the network settings via the GUI may make it necssary, but if one
changes them via the control panel on the front of the box itself
the changes stick - at least that's my experience. I've got RAQ2s
and 3s that were renumbered just a few weeks ago in this manner that
reboot just fine every time.
