Hi,
You can change these settings in srm.conf which is located in
/etc/httpd/conf
# Customizable error response (Apache style)
# these come in three flavors
#
# 1) plain text
#ErrorDocument 500 "The server made a boo boo.
# n.b. the (") marks it as text, it does not get output
#
# 2) local redirects
#ErrorDocument 404 /missing.html
# to redirect to local url /missing.html
#ErrorDocument 404 /cgi-bin/missing_handler.pl
# n.b. can redirect to a script or a document using server-side-includes.
#
# 3) external redirects
#ErrorDocument 402 http://some.other_server.com/subscription_info.html
#
ErrorDocument 401 /cobalt_error/authorizationRequired.html
ErrorDocument 403 /cobalt_error/forbidden.html
ErrorDocument 404 /cobalt_error/fileNotFound.html
ErrorDocument 500 /cobalt_error/internalServerError.html

Hi,
My two cents...:) IE has recently undergone some sort of change in the way
it displays error pages...and I haven't figured out how to turn it off
yet...I've only managed to change the default search engine you get when
there is no page at all. But, I've also heard that you can still override
the page IE chooses to show by making sure your error page is over a
certain byte size...(seems that 8k was some magic number). I've tried
searching for this information and didn't turn up anything so maybe I'm
just dreaming, but if you are pretty sure your .htaccess file is
correct...try making sure you errordocs are over 8-10k each and see if that
helps.
see ya,
