[apologies if this gets posted twice]
I have telnet and ftpd turned off on my Raq3i.
Although I am happy using scp/sftp from my Linux
box @ home to transfer files, my wife would like
to be able to transfer files from her Mac. I refuse
to use telnet or ftp directly to my RaQ, for the reason of
passwords being transmitted as cleartext.
You can see where this is going... :-)
Is there a safe way to set up ftpd on the RaQ so
that it will only accept a connection that has
been tunneled through sshd?
I am aware that there is a free/share sftp/scp client
for the Mac, but that's OSX, not OS 9. Hence my desire
to set up tunneling through MacSSH.
