Sorry to polute the list, just thought there was a misconfiguration
here....my cheapo $199 linux machine doesn't reveal the user list but my
expensive Cobalt does. Thought there might be some insight into why the
Cobalt/Redhat system allows that.

Then you should ask on a spam list. http://spam.abuse.net/
You need to trace where it's coming from from the headers. e.g. I added
213.140.0.176 to my block list on the server. Plenty of info at the above
address.
