[cobalt-users] ProFTPD - FTP-over-SSH

This is very, very weird... pardon the lame-o hotmail address.

I used to be able to FTP over SSH to my RAQ4i.  I say "used to", because it 
no longer works.  I am able to connect and login via FTP over SSH, but as 
soon as FTP client attempts to list the directory contents, it stalls.

proftpd.conf still contains the magical "AllowForeignAddress on" directive.

Yet "tail /var/log/messages" indicates that proftpd is complaining about 
"SECURITY VIOLATION: Passive connection from {host} rejected".

The only changes that have been made to the RAQ4i is the addition of a sub 
domain (subdomain.domain.com) that points at the same IP as the main domain. 
 This subdomain was removed as soon as the FTP/SSH problem was 
discovered... no change.

I have checked the proftpd docs and searched the net, but to no avail.  
Hopefully this list can help.  Yes I have followed the instructions found

As I said, this setup used to work.  Now it would seem that something is 
really wrong.
