Not true. You can install PHP 4.0.6 on a RaQ3 (we have 4.0.6 running happily
right now). However the 'make install' stage will not work. See this posting
in the archives:
http://list.cobalt.com/pipermail/cobalt-users/2001-June/046756.html
N.B. Those instructions build PHP with support for MSSQL and Sybase, which
you probably don't won't, and preliminary steps of downloading and unpacking
the archive are not covered. Read the README and INSTALL documents that come
with PHP-4.0.6. You must also manually add the correct PHP configuration
directives in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf.
Worth looking at the other messages in that thread from that time.
Hope this helps,
David B.
