I'm not familiar with the PKG install of MySQL, but I suspect that it
doesn't install the MySQL source files, just the binaries. If that's the
case there's nothing to point to. Your alternatives are to download the
source or just install --with-mysql (don't specify a directory) and it will
install with PHP's builtin MySQL support. I often configure PHP that way
and I've never had any problems as a result, going back to PHP 3.0.x and
MySQL 3.22.x in 1999 on a RaQ1.
