Jim,
Dont know if this helps, but I have seen a very
similar error twice when reloading my RaQs.
The first time is was because the image I downloaded
was corrputed. The README file in the directory where
you got the image has the MD5 checksums. Make sure you
got a complete copy.
The *other* time I got this error was due to
incompatible hardware. I put the CD in the same
machine I had always used before, yet this time it
didn't work... Inbetween the last time and this time,
I had added a second CDROM drive - for whatever reason
this caused problems. Disconnected the drive - problem
solved - no idea why... Have you changed your hardware
in ANY way since the last successful reload?
Rusty
