Is the Cobalt "version" of RedHat that much different from the original?  I
presume it is the hardware specifics that will make it impossible to emulate a
RaQ on another box?

One good reason for doing this (cloning, that is), is to experiment with new
software releases before trying it out on a production server.

That's my point, but seems (like you said) impossible due to hardware specifics... 8^( But I'll try with RedHat 6.2... Does anyone knows how to install "automagically" .pkgs in RedHat?
