Hello all.
Discovered my own problem last night, and set out to fix it....
Located a package for 2.01 out there on:
http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net/files/
I installed it on my RaQ4r and all seems well. The only thing it doesn't
appear to handle is third level domains, such as rick.domain.com. But, most
of those are "play sites" in my case, so it shouldn't cause much problem,
although I will have to investigate... Its probably a simple script change
to the way the dirs are referred to.
FYI - it puts the stats into domain.com/~stats, which works well with
FrontPage. Also, it has DNS lookups enabled, so the IPs all get resolved and
the country stats work... BUT, that might cause a higher load on some boxes
(mine ran about 15% higher than normal during this, but very acceptable,
especially at 4am).
I dropped it in right over webalizer 1.3 from the pkg.nl site (the one with
the password protection) No problem.
Its possible you might lose the stats since the beginning of the month,
depending on how busy your sites are... In most of my lower traffic sites,
it reconstructed all the way back to mid September. Guess that is what was
in my log files still.
Now, I have old stats at domain.com/stats and new stats at
domain.com/~stats. I can live with it.
Good luck,
Rick
