Yep, a gnarly little "bugg" it is!
I emailed Bradford Barrett and the patch for version 1.3 has to apply to
the webalizer.c file before compile, so those of us who installed via the
.pkg file are out of that loop..
I've considered building version 2.01 on my machine but not nearly smart
enough to volunteer as the sacrificial lamb on this one.. I've decided to
let those much more versed in this lead me to the slaughter <g>
My "work-around" seems to be doing the trick that being, renaming all the
stats folders to statsold and starting fresh after the logs rotate and get
rid of the stuff from the 5th.. It is writing new stats and at least I'm
getting that done. I'd like to have done it in a cleaner manner but I have
two sites that really needed thier stats so... we do what we can do..
Good luck and I've got my ear to the rail hoping for a better solution..
like detailed instructions on how to install 2.01 (I've done the untar and
make file stuff before but totally forget the process)
All ears!
