RE: [cobalt-users] IMAGES load VERY slowly

It is a Raq 3 w/ 32M

here is the breakdown:

CPU:	300 MHz
Swap etc:

34 processes: 33 sleeping, 1 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 0.6% user, 0.4% system, 0.0% nice, 8.6% idle
Mem: 30528K av, 26788K used, 3740K free, 23200K shrd, 1196K buff
Swap: 131536K av, 11984K used, 119552K free 12688K cached

The sites are not badly designed, in fact some of the images that take
forever are like 14K or less. It loaded well on another server, and seems
to load fast for some but not for others (geographically speaking).

I'm willing to post the site here to see what people get in response times,
can you please give me some feedback on it, http://www.sunpowr.com .

I can be reached directly at "feedback@xxxxxxxx"

Many thanks!

what is the CPU / swap file / RAM loading like?

have you tried different browsers? Opera is twice as fast as IE and 20 times
as fast if you turn images off

does the design of the websites themselves suck? eg requests to other
servers for tracking images / banners / assorted crap that appear at the top
of pages so other server response time slows your server down
