[cobalt-users] Raq4 with PHP & XML?

Hello All,

Here is a question that I have not seen much discussion neither on the list
(been a silent reader for a couple of months) nor the archives. I would like
to implement some xml - xsl in our Raq4 alongside php and mysql. I have read
about Sablotron (a xslt processor that works with php) to take care of the
presentation portion of my task. I am also aware of php's expat and dom
capabilites, which is the whole reason for this question:
Are any of you professionals using xml in your production environments? I
have a project that will receive massive amounts of documents (most of them
excel & word) from several internal departments. I would like to separate
the programming & content layer from the presentation layer. I have almost
figured out how to create xml files from the office documents but now I need
to look at the implementation on the web server. I have a Raq4 with php,
mysql and the very basic modules installed (I just adopted this server!).
All of your opinions and advice are welcome. Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Octavio Heredia
