Look at the email isp-linux list is sending out, we need an admin like this
Quoted below
List brethren:
I'd like to take a couple minutes of your time to explain a new program I'm
instituting with the ISP-Lists. There are usually a lot of questions asked
by new members of the lists, and a lot of inadvertent postings that violate
our terms of service or other email discussion list guidelines, like email
netiquette.
So, once or twice a month I will send out a posting that details some of
the ISP-Lists standards and what's expected from every list member. Don't
take it personally :), everyone on all 33 discussion lists are getting one
of these emails. All such posts will come from my email addy
[jim@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] and the subject line will include the [ADMIN] header.
This means that people violating the ISP-Lists will be removed from the
ISP-Lists, a "warning shot" if you will, but free to rejoin the discussion
list community. Repeat violators will be removed on a permanent
basis. That means if you see a spam violation or other posting boo-boo,
please don't email to the list the infraction, I will remove them myself.
These reminders come directly from our Web site
[http://isp-lists.isp-planet.com/], so if you have any questions take a
look there. If you have any questions about the ISP-Lists standards,
please feel free to contact me at my email address or by phone.
Thanks for your time, and if you are a member of multiple ISP-Lists, I
apologize for sending you a message to each list in which you're a member. :)
