I have 2 RaQ servers and one IBM Netfinity with dialtone. Everything was
fine and had no problem until I placed a order for another server for one of
my customers. They gave me a server which has "Admin" and "Reseller Admin"
accounts with UNIVERSAL password. It seems funny but what I meant, you go to
their control panel and login as admin and type anything in password and
guess what? You are in with root privileges. VERY VERY SCARY. Well I lost my
customer and had to refund him all money. When I brought this issue with
dialtone and opened support ticket, they were unable to fix it and have not
refund any money. Instead they are black-mailing because I signed up
agreement for 6 months, so they want me keep paying for six months
regardless the server has such kind a serious bug. I took matter to their
so-called Manager Customer Relations but all are same. It has been 2 months
trying to resolve the issue amicably but they are so uncooperative, I can't
believe. Finally I have disputed the amount through my credit card and let's
see what happens next. But my personal experience, they are very very
UN-COOPERATIVE and VERY STUB-BORN.
I guess if you have to go with them just don't signup any type of agreement
and go month to month basis, you may be ok. But I am not going to do any
more business with them and will transfer my other servers asap.
Regards
K.A.
