RE: [cobalt-users] copy email solution

Sorry about top posting.

What I want is both user1 and user2 to receive the mail. I don't want
user1 to see a forward listed on the forward part of their personal
settings page relating to user2. Achievable?

Please don't top post!!
The short answer is no. The long answer is no. If you have a webmail
client running it will show whatever is in user mailboxes. If you don't
want user1 to get the message (only user2) then omit user1 from the
alias file entry and rebuild you aliases file with the "newaliases"
command. Otherwise if you're dead set on both users getting the mail,
user1 is gonna see the mail in GUI view no matter what....unless you
invoke procmail and stuff user1's email into some truly obscure
location. As I ask below....why? Sorry, this probably isn't what you
want to hear, but as AFAIK that's the answer. If anyone knows of a
workaround for this, please post it! As a tangential question, I have to
wonder why you would want user1 to
*get* the email, yet not want it to show in the GUI? Do you want user1
to be able to read their email or not?? Answering this question might
shed some light on the whole matter. Regards, -Colin
