Hi Rusty:
Alternative to the other database creation solutions listed, if you are
looking for a complete sign up script so that your prospective clients can
actually set up an entire hosting package (including MySQL database) via the
web, try AutoSetup:
http://autosetup.northwesthost.com/cgibin/ya/click.pl?id=124
I'm not wholeheartedly recommending this because I'm just looking into it
right now, don't own it myself yet, but there are some positive testimonials
on the site and my initial questions about the product have been answered
thoroughly and promptly. Additionally, it has been designed to work with the
Cobalt GUI 100%.
I also received this response from the developer,
I have a new Program coming out soon called Auto Control Pro that does
100% more than autosetup. Autosetup just adds sites to the server. The
new program you will be able to add and delete sits, users,
databases, user aliases....etc It does every thing the GUI does and
more but it does not break the GUI.
Hope this info helps.
