Let's 1st assume that you know how to enable PHP (obviously in the GUI interface
whilst creating a new site). And mySQL is installed? Ok, now on to your
question ...

You'll have to create the mysql database for them, and forward the name, userid
and password to the client. Only the root mysql user (not to be confused with
the Unix root user) can create databases (if I'm not mistaken).

There are a couple of options available when it comes to the creation of the
databases:

- use the mysql interface in a telnet or SSH session
- use phpMyAdmin (highly recommended)
- or use a script that will create the database and user id in one go (e-mail me
for more info, or go to http://webhostingtalk.com and search for similar posts
in the Cobalt RaQ forum).

The latter is by far the easiest - it will also take care of the user
permissions, etc.

Hope this helps,
