Reverse lookup is ok. Odd thing is, when I look in the log files I see:
messages:Sep 28 09:50:05 ns1 proftpd[26574]: 64.65.48.48
(217-13-17-39.dd.nextgentel.com[217.13.17.39]) - FTP session opened.

(217-13-17-39.dd.nextgentel.com[217.13.17.39]) - FTP no transfer timeout,
disconnected.
Suggesting he's kicked off due to inactivity. But he says he doesn't even
get connected? And he has no problem with web or mail traffic via ADSL.
