Hi All!
Now it's my turn to holler for some help.
On a Qube2 I have a user "webstuff" and into that user's home dir I
stuffed some .pl files (scripts to install a mail broadcast app). All
permissions have been rigorously checked and the browser can see the
script but gives me the following error message:
CGIWrap was unable to find the user 'webstuff/setup.pl' in the password
file on this server.
Just in case (although my documentation says it's unecessary) I made a
cgi-bin
directory in the user's www dir, adjusted group, ownership and perms all
over again, & got the same result.
Renaming the file to .cgi produced nothing different.
errrr....h.e.l.p. <grin> I don't do much www stuff as can be clearly
seen, mostly mail in various flavors.
Regards,
-Colin
