[cobalt-users] Qube2 hanging after OS upgrade



I thought I sent this the other day, but I haven't seen it.  I apologize if 
it's a repeat.

A little over a week ago I upgraded my Qube2, which had been running the 
stock OS, to all the current revisions and patches.  Prior to the new 
software installation the box had been running very reliably -- one hang in 
more than a year (and maybe that wasn't the box's fault), but mostly more 
reliable than the local power company.

Since the upgrade it's hanging once every day or two.  For the most part 
the box is lightly loaded, although it does see its share of SMTP traffic. 
It's behind a hardware firewall so it's not doing any firewall activity 
itself.

I need this box to return to its former reliability, but I also need the 
security patches that were installed with the update.

I've seen one other Qube2 user complain of a very similar problem, also 
after a recent upgrade, so I know I'm not alone.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and how I might correct it?
