Hello List,
Ok, I've been through the archives and there seems to be many conflicting
ideas on this, so I am gonna ask a few questions and hope for the best...
Exactly what would I need to backup (which directories and individual files)
in order to bring all my user accounts, email aliases, web sites, passwords,
DNS records, and most importantly - have everything viewable in the GUI
again after a fallout..
I mean, if I restore it, I would like to be able to go to the GUI and have
everything look the same as before the restore... I am writing my own
little shell script to tar everything I need up into a nice little (HA) file
and place it on another server on the local network hidden from the world..
I am mostly unsure about the GUI config files.. I don't know how the GUI
works (yet) but I am sure someone does.. :)
Below is a list I put together from reading through the archives, and I want
to make sure I am not forgetting anything.. So if anyone knows of any other
things I might need, please, let me know..
/root/
/home/
/var/log/
/etc/
/usr/local/majordomo/
I'm pretty sure there's more than that..
Thanks List!
