Windows 2000BC, Is that Windows 2000 before Christ, after Windows
Neanderthal Technology, this would sure make sense :-))

If you installed all the services packs ( You know these 100 MB of patches
for security bugs ), especially SP2 then you shouldn't have be infested by
nimba, however if you didn't that you gentilly helped spreading around the
virus.

Just for info, so that everyone can have a laugh, the swiss Post, had their
servers blocked by the virus :-))

This is not really true. I have installed all the updates and then some. There is a page at:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/mpsa/start.asp
that will look at your windows2000 workstation and evaluate it for you. It told me I needed 8 hotfixes. They are not listed on the update page. I have installed service packs 1 and 2. There is another program to download and run on a Windows2000 server. It told me I needed about a dozen hotfixes. I now have them all, but I thought I did already. I have been a tech for years, though not certified as an MSCE or the such. I have built systems for years and I always thought the updates kept me current. I am sure many others have the same thought.
