Hi,
I have a hopefully simple question: I want to back up a directory on a RaQ
4i by taring it, but the directory is over 2Gig in size even with
compression enabled when taring it, and Linux definitely doesn't like files
larger than 2 Gig. Can anyone tell me how to make a multiple segment tar
file(s)? I see the "M" switch in the man command, but am unsure how to use
it. Basically I want to tar, compress, multisegment and preserve file
rights.
Thanks for any help!
