Hello totgether,
this looks like another (new or old) IIS Hack for me. So our Cobalt and
other Unix Machines shouldn't have a problem with theese URL's. The apache
returns a 404 Not found and all should go its way. The only Problem what can
occur at this high number of log files is that the space where the logfiles
will be stored can be filled. If i remember correct the logfiles at a RaQ
are stored in the users logs dir, if one page gets extremly much of theese
hits then the user quota could be filled. Im not sure of this, but i think
thats not a critical point.
Perhaps another color in the MS Worm Series ? I don't know but MS has
released a Security Hot Topic on 13. this Month. Take a look at it if you're
interested in :

Hope that helps a little bit.
