We installed webmin on 2 raq3's and the way we did it was we did a wget from
/usr/local/src
We did the normal untarring and such.
We then did the ./setup.sh and followed the instructions that pop up in
command line.
We also did the same for our Debian box. Like I stated before, we did .87,
but upgrade threw the GUI on webmin to .88 and all went well. As a side note
they finally added ProFTPD to the modules:)
Are you sure you don't have a corrupted tar?
Sorry I can't offer better help. It is a pretty simple install. I would try
the wget again and remove the old file. We even got it to install on an OS X
box. Had to lie to it since .87 didn't list OS X, just the server version.
But I just noticed they have the OS X version too.
