I have several users who get a horrendous amount of incoming mail...so
much so that if they aren't prompt in picking it up, I get the
dreaded /filesystem is getting full message.
Can a change be made to have files that are created in /var/spool/mail
reside in another directory other than something under /var ?
I know enough about sendmail to spell it, so I don't want to
experiment and shoot myself in the foot.
Are there any other files that can/should be removed in the
/var/subdirectory area? The .gz files in /var/log come to mind.
Thanks
Thom
