Search for the .cnf file
I bet its still there!
For example the cnf files are located at /usr/local/frontpage
If not do a locate 80.cnf and find out where they are stored on your server.
Very easy to fix.

The customer has the site running without extensions this weekend - it's a
sports related site so it can't be down till weekend results are in.
On Monday we'll give it a go again and see if it resolves the issue.
