yes that message has the kak worm embeded in the html portion. the worm is
a script that would run and infect vulnerable people who view the html
portion of the message. this is an excelent reason not to post (or perhaps
even allow posting) in html format. in any case, the text of the message is
quoted below my sig (minus the virus of course ;-).
mikey.

Help! I have this problem that's going into the second week and can not =
get response from cobalt.=20
In my original RaQ3 setup I used earthlink.net for my call in provider. =
I could send and receive mail. I changed providers to byucity.net. I =
can still receive email to all accounts but when I attempt to send mail =
I get this response=20
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'EJones@ J 1S', =
Server: 'j-one-s.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket =
Error: 10051, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
I followed suggestions and added 63, com, edu, gov, net and org entries =
addresses to the Relay for the following Hosts/Domains section of the =
email setup screen. The earthlink.net connection would not send mail =
until they were added. If I understand the manuals its the same as " * =
" and that is not good.
I am open to any suggestions and/or help.
here is my information
Dialup dynamic IP through byucity.net/UUNet is 63.24.14.14
The nameserver is www.j-one-s.com
