for whatever its worth, the ps model number is: ZVC36FS12107 from EOS corp.,
and as mentioned it is 12VDC, 3.0A, 36W cont (although our original ps was
m/n ZVC40LT12107, 12VDC, 3.3A, 40W). i also don't know the pinout, but it
does have an odd (at least to me) little round locking 3 prong plug.

we had trouble with out qube2 power supply not long ago. it started dying
when it reached some critical temperature (though it never felt that hot to
me), causing our qube to crash constantly (we have since upgraded to a
qube3). we attempted to order a replacement part from sun (via the online
store and by phone), but they claimed that they did not carry or could not
find the part and were otherwise unable to help us. searching their website
using the p/n from the adapter was unsuccessful.
finally, they suggested we contact our local cobalt rep to see if he could
tell us the right part number to order. we did call him (i'm sorry but i
can no longer find my notes with his name or anything), and he very
generously and promptly sent over a replacement power supply.
the long and short of it is i wouldn't count on sun to be very helpful, but
if you can contact your local cobalt rep, you may get lucky.
good luck,
mikey.
