the configure was:
./configure '--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs' '--with-mysql' '--with-pgsql'\
'--enable-ftp' '--enable-track-vars' '--enable-magic-quotes'\
'--enable-debugger' '--without-gd'  '--with-pear'\
'--with-mcrypt' '--with-dom' '--with-pcre'\
'--with-imap'

it didnt produce a debug.txt - produces a config.log - but that is rather
large - it ends with checking the path for DOM. I redid the configure and
the last chunk of messages is below:


checking for DOM support... yes
checking for DOM in default path... not found
configure: error: Please reinstall the libxml >= 2.2.7 distribution
